We recently sat down with the Director of TU’s Continuing & Professional Studies, Jeff Beeson, to hear his perspective on the future of workforce and continuing education at TU. Anyone who knows Jeff, knows that he’s a ball of energy and ideas. However in my opinion, one of his best traits is that he’s very much about “doing things.” Today I saw a Walt Disney quote that said, “the best way to get started is to stop talking and start doing;” this sums him up. Workforce and continuing education require flexibility and the ability to quickly respond to the changing needs of the market — and these are things Jeff is exceptional at. As Jeff says in this video, he has an incredible team around him and together they are developing dynamic new programs to meet the needs of our region and state.
