The Office of Partnerships and Outreach recently welcomed Kathleen Crostic to our team. As partnerships manager, she will work with partners and TU faculty and staff to support and grow existing and new university-community partnerships. With President Schatzel’s new priority around community engagement and partnerships through the BTU Priority and Framework, having Kathleen on board is incredibly important. She will be actively collaborating with departments across campus to move our institution-wide agenda forward.
Kathleen comes to us with a seasoned record of creating strong partnerships and relationships with businesses, neighborhoods, non-profits, and community members all with the underlying goal of improving our region’s economic and social well-being. This experience and drive to elevate and support TU’s incredible faculty, staff, students, and partners make her a perfect addition to our team.
“Partnerships between Towson University and our surrounding organizations, businesses, and schools make a positive impact on the lives of our neighbors and open up countless opportunities for students to engage in the community, well beyond the boundaries of a classroom. Many strong partnerships are already in existence here at Towson, and I look forward to continuing those as well as building and strengthening new ones,” said Kathleen.
Kathleen will also be joining our roster of bloggers. So, look out for her posts in the coming weeks.
Prior to joining Towson University, Kathleen worked at Johns Hopkins University as community programs manager, providing opportunities for employees to engage with the surrounding Baltimore communities. She also served as conference and tourism associate for Baltimore County.
