Earlier this week seven ventures and their founders took up residency in the StarTUp at the Armory as the winter 2023 StarTUp Accelerator launched. From AI and dental hygiene to cloud storage and a social venture about caddying, these ventures represent a wide range of industries. Here are a few facts about this winter’s cohort:
- 17 fellows represent seven ventures. Five are women. All ventures are lead or founded by a woman or someone who identifies as a minority.
- Fellows have graduated from TU, Stevenson University, UMBC, Kings College, American University and Dartmouth University, among others. One founder hasn’t attended college.
- These ventures have raised $3.9M collectively in funding. Of this, $455k is non-dilutive funding.
