Building partnerships is essential to the StarTUp at the Armory. Through a partnership between StarTUp at Armory, Baltimore County Public Schools, and Towson University’s College Of Fine Arts and Communications, artists now have another space where they can showcase and market their products and ideas. We believe that not all entrepreneurs are artists, but that all artists are entrepreneurs, and are thrilled to beautify our space with the works of local creatives.
In June, the StarTUp at the Armory hosted the 35th Annual High School Art Exhibition. This night was a celebration for the junior and senior art students and art educators of Baltimore County Public Schools for all their hard work throughout the year to create artwork that spoke to students’ self-expression. Some of the artwork is currently on display at the StarTUp at the Armory.
The TU College of Fine Arts and Communication will begin offering art exhibitions in 2024 that highlight Towson University student and faculty artwork in 2024. Keep an eye out for upcoming receptions and exhibitions.
