Founders from nine ventures have taken up residency at the StarTUp at the Armory as they begin their eight weeks of the 2023 StarTUp Accelerator. From gaming and food trucks, to sports betting and a social venture that seeks to close the gender pay gap, these ventures represent a wide range of industries. Here are some fun facts about the summer cohort:

  • 17 fellows represent nine ventures. Two are women-founded. Five are Black/minority-founded. One international founder.
  • A few fellows have graduated from Towson University, Stevenson University, UMBC, Kings College, American University and Dartmouth College, among others. One founder hasn’t attended college.
  • Ventures have raised $3.9M collectively, including $455k in non-dilutive funding.

Everybody Eats is a Food Truck Company providing a low-cost menu to tackle food insecurity on college campuses and in the surrounding community, while putting 10% back into community rebuilding initiatives!
