Mindful Movements wins United Way Change Maker Challenge
May 2024

Mindful Movements, 2023 College Cup finalists and 2023 StarTUp Accelerator alum, won the audience vote for the United Way Change Maker Challenge in the Baltimore County division winning a cash prize of $5,000.

Mindful Movements is dedicated to creating opportunities to improve mental health, education, and foster character-driven friendships in underrepresented communities through outdoor adventures designed to uplift spirits and sharpen minds.

Mehedi Shoron featured in Forbes 30 Under 30
May 2024

Mehedi Shoron, Co-Founder of HelloTask and Summer 2023 StarTUp Accelerator alum, was made the Forbes 30 under 30.

Fun Fact About Mehedi: He and his company, HelloTask, are based out of Bangladesh.

HelloTask empowers blue-collar workers by connecting them with better jobs.

Somnair wins ASU Innovation Open
May 2024

Somnair, 2024 StarTUp Accelerator venture, won 2nd place in the Rice Business plan with a cash prize of $250,000 and 1st place in the ASU Innovation Open with a cash prize of $100,000.

Somnair is the first non-invasive neurostimulation solution for sleep apnea.

Fem Equity wins Pitch Dingman Competition
March 2024

Fem Equity, 2023 StarTUp Accelerator alum, won second place at the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition winning a cash prize of $15,000.
