If you’ve been to a recent event at the StarTUp at the Armory, you may have enjoyed a can of Zenjoy, an adaptogenic tea made for stress and anxiety relief.

This brand to watch was developed by co-founders, Mack Anderson, Daniel Osborne and Tim Brumbaugh. Graduates of the 2024 Towson University StarTUp Accelerator.

Since then, the Zenjoy team has set up shop on our second floor, where they run their business, and has found tremendous success. In 2024, they landed a distribution deal with Giant to stock their drink in 165 grocery stores.

Now in their third year of business, Zenjoy has reached a $1 million revenue run rate, and continues to be on track for a $1.25 million revenue year.

The company launched at 100 Giant Eagle supermarkets and are doing a test launch at 25 Albertsons locations. Their calming tea can now be found in roughly 300 corporate grocery stores in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Zenjoy team recently racked up another win.

They expanded their office, school and healthcare distribution through a massive partnership with Compass — the largest foodservice operator in the world. Co-founder Mack Anderson calls these customers ‘high stress zones’ and says his company is targeting them heavily.

To support this growth, they’re building out their team of experienced drivers, sales reps and marketing professionals.

Congratulations to the Zenjoy team on their upward trajectory. We’re proud to be part of their journey!
